1.d4 d5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.f3 e6 4.Bg5 Be7 5.e3 O-O 6.Qd3 c5 {I think a blunder on my end. After BxNb3 it's either blow up my king's position with g7xBf6 or use my bishop to recapture and lose my pawn on c5. I believe Nbd7 would have been better, then the pawn push.}7.O-O-O?! {I was relieved he did not take. He made this move quickly during the live match so I guess he had a plan.} Nbd7 8.e4 c4!{I gained the initiative and denied his pawn trade by attacking the Queen.} 9.Qd2 {I think Qe3 would have been better. I took advantage of Qd2 by threatening mate later in a1, b1.}Qa5 {I think a good move. Bringing the Queen to the queenside of the board, and putting pressure on a2.}10.e5 Bb4! {This move sets up the execution. To be honest, I think my opponent could have defended better, but the game was well fought I think on both ends.}
11.a3 Bxa3 {I'm going to stop annotating, because I think this move was a serious blunder, though it worked because of my opponent's next move.}12.Nb1?! {I think after b2xBa3 Qxa3+, king moves and as fine, though vulnerable to some pestering. Either way, I felt as though I had to use the bishop so my Knight didn't get taken by BxNf6. White has to reply to this or else my next move is Bd4, threatening Qa1+, Nb1, BxQd2.} Bxb2+ {Keeping the initiative on my bishop and drawing the king out. This move allows a series of checks that get my queen out of danger and my Knight on f6.}13.Kxb2 Qb5+ 14.Kc1 Ne8!?{ Sacrificing the rook (to be honest, unintentionally) but moving my Knight over to the Queenside for the big attack. Nh4 was just too passive and I couldn't allow his bishop to take. I needed this Knight to make my big attack.} 15.Be7 Nb6 {Threatening Na4 Qb2#}16.Na3 Qa4 17.Kb2 Nc7 {I calculated a few moves with my queen and that other Knight and decided I needed the potential Nb5 to do anything lethal.}18.Bxf8 {I'm glad he did this. It weakened the Knight on a3 by removing the bishop defender. My rook was inactive and not fighting anyway, so I was ok with the exchange. My kingside is now perfectly fine but I am 3 points down. However, I have the attack.}Kxf8 19.Ra1 Nb5 {Threatening a pawn push to fork white's King and Queen.}20.Nb1?{Better would have been Nfe2, preventing the pawn push.} c3+
21.Nxc3 Qb4+ 22.Kc1 Nxc3 {Gaining back material and equalizing.}23.Ne2 Nba4!!{the finale. Threatening Qb2#. If Ne2xc3, then Qb2+, Qxa1+ then Knight is mine. If queen takes, knight takes queen, if rook takes, mate on b2.`} 24.Rxa4 Qb1# 0-1
