1. c4 e5 2. e3 Nc6 3. a3 f5 4. b4 Nf6 5. h3 {At this point, I think my
opponent is making too many pawn moves, which can't be good... right?} d6 6.
Nc3 Be7 7. Be2 O-O 8. g4 f4 {Ne4 would have been stronger} 9. e4 Be6 10. d3
Nd4 11. g5 Nd7 12. Bg4 Bf7 {There is no reason for Bf7, the bishop was
protected by the knight on d4.} 13. h4 {Here black has clearly a much better
position. Next move is just a blunder, loosing a pawn. I played this because
I had thought about it beofre the bishop moved to g4, where it would have
forced the bishop to the horrible f1.} f3 $2 14. Nxf3 Nxf3+ $2 {Why would I
exchange that knight??? Houdini recomments a5 instead.} 15. Qxf3 {Here I got
exited about a discovered attack on the queen, and because I was
underestimating my opponent...} Bxc4 $4 {So the bishop cannot be taken
because I'm attacking the queen, so I'll just grab a pawn?} 16. Qh3 {and now
both the knight and the bishop are under attack. After some thought, I
realised that there was no way out, so at least I'll grab another pawn for
the piece I'm about to loose (wrong again, Bf7 is the best move).} Nb6 $2 17.
dxc4 Nxc4 $2 18. Be6+ {Forking king and knight, and now I'm two pieces down!}
Kh8 19. Bxc4 {So here I thought about resigning. And decided not to. I'm two
pieces down, but the white king is still in the centre, my rook is attacking
f2, my development is more complete and too many white pawns have been
advanced too far. Of course I should lose, but my opponent is the one who is
overconfident now, and I do have some ways of putting pressure on white.} c6
{with the idea of Qb6, attacking f2. The evaluation by Houdini here is +7 in
favour of white.} 20. Be6 Qb6 21. Be3 Qa6 {preventing white from castling
kingside or queenside} 22. Bf5 d5 {attacking the centre, and threatening
Bxb4} 23. exd5 Bxb4 {cannot be taken because the roon on a1 would fall.} 24.
Bd2 cxd5 25. Nxd5 $2 {allowing this knight to be pinned to the king later.}
Bxd2+ 26. Kxd2 Rad8 27. Be4 $2 {Rhd1 was better} Rxf2+ 28. Ke3 $4 {Kc1 avoids
mate, Houdini thinks that position is slightly better for black (-0.6)} Qe2#
{checkmated} 0-1
